Halloween 2011...that is how behind I am :)

This year Cannon wanted to be a knight

London wanted to be Super Girl

And Kennedy an Indian Princess

Before the ward trunk-or-treat we headed to a party put on by 2 girls in London's class.  The kids had a lot of fun making goop, eating doughnuts, making crafts, and playing with friends.  We had a great time.

Kennedy's cheer competition

What a fun season this was for Kennedy as a cheerleader.  She grew leaps and bounds and really found a love for cheer.  This was her cheer competition and her squad took first place in their age group.  These are the only photos I have because I mostly filmed.  As soon as I can figure out how to put it on here then I will.  

Kennedy was overjoyed that they handed the trophy to her when they announced their squad (she happened to be the closest to the announcer).

They had a banquet at a little restaurant and handed out trophies.  Their coach called them up one by one and gave them each so praise.  Kennedy's coach said that every time they would do their half-time dance, she could't take her eyes off of Kennedy because she was so good and her smile was so beautiful.  I would have to agree:)  

Camping at Grandfather Mountain

What a great trip!!  We headed out for a weekend trip up to Grandfather Mountain where we hiked, camped, fished, and crossed the Mile High Bridge.  The ride up was fun..I feel like we are finally to the point where traveling is easy and the kids are much more mature.  We ended up hitting some traffic heading into the park so we made good use of our time and prepped for Christmas by cranking up the Christmas tunes and entertaining all of the cars around us.  After the Christmas tunes we enjoyed some Michael Jackson..We were dancing, singing, laughing so hard and really enjoying each others company.

At the start of the hike it was soooo windy.  Neil had to hold on to the kids so they wouldn't blow away!

I can't even explain how scary this was for London and I...we were almost crying.  The wind and the height on top of the swinging bridge were freaking us out!

We had a great dinner of turkey and veggies and then smores.  Breakfast was just as good and also followed with more smores :)

The kids all caught their first trout...they tasted soooo good!
