When we moved into our house we got what we could afford...nothing more. We have been in our house over 6 years and things have been driving us crazy. Our floor being one of the top things on our list. So, to save a lot of money we decided to do the flooring ourselves. And when I say ourselves, I mean MOSTLY Neil. "We" did this little project on the whole main floor minus the bathrooms ad bedrooms. It took about a month to complete between the Disney Trip, Cannon and I getting Pneumonia, and all of the other everyday craziness. London's birthday was at the beginning of December and we had her birthday party so Neil was literally finishing the baseboards minutes before the party started. I was the floor and baseboard ripper upper and Neil was the floor layer. It was a super big pain and we were all a little bit irritable living in mess and walking on concrete but it was well worth it. Tomorrow I will be paying for the granite to be put in. It should be done by the end of the week...we are not doing it ourselves though. We have had enough of living in mess for awhile. 
We had some rugs cut for a few areas of the house
