Thunder Road Half 2011

I think that this was my last half marathon...I am not sure if my feet can take much more.  This was a fun race though and as always, this race is very hilly.  I ran with Katrina Lund and it was fun to have a running buddy. I usually end up running on my own so this was nice for a change.  At about mile 9 I lost a little steam and Katrina was a machine and kept her pace steady so I lost track of her for the last few miles.  I finished in 2:04:47.  I was hoping to beat my 2:10 time so I was very happy with how I did.  I love the women that I run with...we have had some wonderful experiences together!
I get a kick out of these pics...I was yelling so Neil and the kids could see me :)
This one is my fave!

Silly Girl

London has a few little quirks.  When she was a baby she had a fascination with her belly button.  This fascination turned into a problem when she would want to play with it ALL the time.  We would put her in jammies that zipped up and then put a safety pin under the zipper so she couldn't get to her belly button because when she would wake up it would be bleeding.  She played with it constantly but she eventually outgrew it for the most part. Now she does some quirky things when she sleeps.  We find her in all sorts of crazy positions, clothes, and situations.  We have found her in between the wall and her bed, asleep with books on her face, legs tucked up into her nightgown with her legs spread like a frog, on a homemade bed made of books, and the list goes on.  This was one cute thing that she did so she could keep the light out of her eyes because Cannon refused to turn off the light.  Santa ended up bringing her an eye mask for this last Christmas so she could wear something more comfortable.

War Birds Air Show

We have a tiny airport about 5 minutes from our house that puts on a great air show every October that honors veterans.  It is wonderful and our kids always love going.  Kennedy was at Oktoberfest Fest with the Westergards and missed out on the show but I think she had a great time with her friend, Emma.

My little man

London took some pottery classes at Noah's Art and so while she was in class Cannon and I would head over the the playground so he could get some energy out.  I happened to have my camera and took a few shots of my little man.  This little guy has me wrapped around his finger.  He can be such a handful but when he having a good day he is so much fun to be with.

Halloween 2011...that is how behind I am :)

This year Cannon wanted to be a knight
London wanted to be Super Girl
And Kennedy an Indian Princess
Before the ward trunk-or-treat we headed to a party put on by 2 girls in London's class.  The kids had a lot of fun making goop, eating doughnuts, making crafts, and playing with friends.  We had a great time.
